Last updated: July 3, 2026
Welcome to USA Author House. By accessing https://usaauthorhouse.com or using our ghostwriting, editing, design, publishing, marketing and related services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before submitting a form, starting a project or making a payment.
Services
USA Author House provides professional book-related services including ghostwriting, proofreading, cover design, book trailers, author websites, publishing support and marketing. Specific deliverables, timelines, revisions and fees will be outlined in your project proposal, invoice or written agreement.
Quotes & Project Agreements
Information submitted through our website forms is used to prepare estimates and recommendations. A binding project relationship begins only after both parties approve a written scope, timeline and payment terms. We reserve the right to decline projects that fall outside our expertise or policy guidelines.
Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate contact and project information
- Supply timely feedback, materials and approvals needed to complete your project
- Confirm that you have the legal right to any content, ideas or materials you provide
- Review deliverables carefully and request revisions within the agreed revision period
Payments & Refunds
Payment terms will be specified in your project agreement. Unless otherwise stated, work may begin only after the required deposit or milestone payment is received. Refund eligibility depends on project stage, work completed and the terms of your agreement. Custom creative services may be non-refundable once substantial work has been delivered.
Intellectual Property
Upon full payment and unless otherwise agreed in writing, ownership of the final approved deliverables transfers to you. We retain the right to use non-confidential portfolio examples, anonymized excerpts or general descriptions of completed work for marketing purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.
You may not reproduce, resell or misrepresent our internal processes, templates or unpublished draft materials without permission.
Confidentiality
We treat client manuscripts, business information and personal stories as confidential. We will not disclose your project details to third parties except as needed to perform the services you have hired us for or as required by law.
Revisions & Approval
Revision allowances depend on your selected package or written agreement. Additional revisions beyond the included scope may incur extra fees. Final approval of manuscripts, designs and marketing materials is the client’s responsibility once deliverables are presented for review.
Website Use
You agree not to misuse our website, attempt unauthorized access, submit false information, interfere with site functionality or use our content for unlawful purposes. All website content, branding, text, graphics and layout are owned by or licensed to USA Author House and may not be copied without permission.
Disclaimer
Our website content is provided for general information only. While we strive for accuracy, we make no guarantees regarding rankings, sales, publication acceptance, bestseller status or specific commercial outcomes. Publishing and marketplace results depend on many factors outside our control.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, USA Author House shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim related to a project shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that specific project.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless USA Author House from claims, damages or expenses arising from content you provide, your breach of these terms or your violation of any third-party rights.
Termination
Either party may terminate a project according to the terms of the applicable agreement. We may suspend or refuse service if payments are overdue, communication breaks down or these terms are violated.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
